Bonnie’s Story

Lucy started talking to her baby, Bonnie, when she was a week old, after coming to one of our sessions. Then we met her again when Bonnie was about one. Lucy learned from us that ‘it is possible to play with a baby’.

When we returned and Bonnie was two Lucy ran up to me with delight, saying ‘Now my baby is ‘bright!’ We have seen her playing just as a two year old should – inquisitively and into everything. She is so different from other toddlers we see! Her Mum says she also speaks a few words of Swahili ( not her first language), reads numbers and talks incessantly.
